Harrasment By Recovery Agent For Unsecured Loan Recovery

I was director of company. Unsecured loan was taken by company, i was signatory as director. This is 4 years old loan. Company is NPA. The finance company has not sent any notice to me but harrasing me & family. How it can be tackled legally ❓️
Well, your case is simple, if your Company was a Pvt Ltd Company & as such, your liability was limited upto the shares held by you or investment made by you in that company. No one could or can come to attach your personal assests, when the company suffered the loss.

The company has a seperate legal entity from it's directors. The company has availed loan from financial company and the account of the company became NPA as there was no repayment of loan amount. The financial company is harrassing you for repayment of loan. You inform the financial company that you should first issue notice to company, take all measures for recovery of the amount and then we will consider for payment.
