Credit card and Personal loan Dues

Hi
I am Kishore from chennai. My dad is a retired Railway employee and mom a house wife and i have a elder brother Named Prakash. Because of Difference of opinion with my parents my brother left from our home in the year 2014. He was living in a different location with his wife and a little kid and have no contact with our parents. In the month of Jan 2020 my mom and dad started receiving calls from various bank for credit card due and loan EMI due which was taken by my brother and slowly credit card collection agent started visiting our home regularly. When we inquire about when these loan and card are taken from bank we came to know all of this was post 2014 that is after my brother left our home. Since all his ID proof was in our parents home address. once he defaults payment CC collection agent started knocking my parents door.
Please advise us what necessary action we have to take on this situation. My dad is afraid whet
