Can refund be made in case discontinuing school after 10 days?

we have admitted our kid to the day care from the first week of October after making the full payment for the whole month fees. But due to some issues we have discontinued the day care with in 10 days. As we asked them to refund the fees of the remaining days, they told it is not possible. fess once paid will not be refundable. But they didn't informed this in the beginning nor they have taken any application from us about this in the beginning. In other words no where in the application it is mentioned nor in the rules. Please advise whether we are eligible to claim the refund or not

This is a issue which can be best resolved by amicable discussion. If the day care service provider is not ready to provide refund, you can very well issue legal notice to them and claim refund.
Moving to court may be a more costlier affair.

If there was any pre-condition in any of the documents you must have signed before the admission that fees once paid would not be refunded you could not recover it. However if there is no such condition you can claim for the refund of amount. Issue them a legal notice with that regard.

Dear client your issue is somewhat diff.the issue now you admitted for daycare, actually which is the service provider then automatically they will charge as per monthly basis, generally, a notice period of one month. but even though if they fill up your child's place by any other child then by morally refund the amount.as there is no agreement between both of you,hense impossible to return.till you write a letter to them and warn them you are going to consumer court against bad practice of daycare.by afraiding this way chances of return of 15 days is possible.
