Send a Legal Notice via an advocate. If he does not cease and desist from sending defamatory messages then proceed to file suit for injunction and parallel can also file a police complaint for defamation.

I have been visiting police station from 17th feb till 9th march but only NC isregistered and o action has been taken.The harasment continues even nowhe is posting as no action has been taken and police refused to file FIR. Havebeen calling, texting and visiting police station for over 1month.I have mailed SP,Addln SP, PSI but no action taken and itsreally clear defamation and character harm with all family members and friendsseeing all posts. You need to approach Magistrate Court for registering FIR. Also address a letter to Commissioner of Police stating that despite repeated requests, concerned Police Station has not taken any action.You should also send a Legal Notice asking to cease and desist from such defamatory actions.

If you mean whether you can become a government employee? The chances are less because normally they do a background verification and if a criminal case is pending, it is unlikely that they would give you the job. If the case is totally false against you, you need to file for quashing of FIR and charge sheet, if any, before the Hon’ble High Court.
