Sir, I went to district consumer commission for the cancellation of an unfair electricity bill which was in my late father name has been delivered at my house after 8 years and that bill has many entries those are wrong or doubtful but commission has dismissed my complaine in the absence of documentary evidence only without going into facts and consider the electricity bill of uppcl which itself not correct. Can I file a case in high court against commission challanging it's dismissal order .

You can approach state consumer commission (scdrc) against the District consumer forum order in an appeal against the said order. A review of the orderof the forum is also possible, although its chances of being allowed are far less than that of a appeal.Against the order of the commission, the remedy lies in an appeal to NCDRC ie National Consumer commission

There are fresh appointments of many high court judges recently and hopefully pendency of the cases will come down.If there is any fresh documents that needs to be filed or fact that needs to be brought on record file a supplementary.
