My family members have given some amount to someone and from past 2 months they are demanding to return the amount which they have given to him all the transactions were done through upi and know they asking to return the amount which they have given to him and he is saying i will give it to you by morning by afternoon by evening by today and tomorrow he is just ranting this lines

Serve him a formal demand notice of 60 daysThen serve a legal notice of 30 days Then file a recovery suit I. Civil court of your jurisdictionAlso call him over phone and STRICTLY DEMAND YOUR MONEY BACK and tell that you will drag him in to the Court and if he may hurl filthy abuses and give some threats then lodge a criminal FIR against him

Q: what is the procedure when bank lost my property documents ?

My loan got completed in sept 2015, but after completion of the loan, when I asked for my original property papers, the bank said they are misplaced and we will search for the same. I waited for 1 year and chased them every time on calls and mails but got only one reply we are searching. After 1 year they provide some of the duplicate papers and said, to continue the search for original papers as well. But it is now one more year and didn't receive any reply from the bank officials. I don't know what to do in this situation, if i want to sell my property, i will not get the actual price of the property due to lack of original documents. what is the supreme court judgement on property papers lost by bank ? Please guide me.

claim for compensation for the loss you are suffering due to the bank. lodge appropriate complaint and file appropriate suit for damages.bank will search and retreive the original documents as and when it will be charged with the penalty imposed by the appropriate Court of Law

My father is undergoing treatment for mental health issues at IBHAS, Delhi. He inherited property from his father. Can my mother or I sell this property given his unsound mind? How can we proceed with the sale of property belonging to a mentally ill person in India?

if the property is transferred in father's name then without his consent the property cannot be sold until and unless you obtain a certificate from competent medical authority to issue a certificate of his unsoundness.Chief medical officer can issue such certificate.if your father has any other Class-I legal heir then there consent/no objection will also be required for disposing off the father's property.
