Q: What to do if the sister in law and his husband are torturing me
My devar and devrani are wanting my father in laws property because of which my devrani who is more dominating over my devar is constantly picking up fights over useless things, destroying household stuff and emotionally blackmailing my mother in law, father in law, husband and me. My father in law tried explaining them that he doesnt want to stay with my devar and devrani anymore because of the mental torture they are causing us. Every single day there is fight in the house for some or the other reason. The situations at times go out of control where she instigates us by breaking house hold property. My FIL, mil, my husband and myself alway discuss about filing a police complaint against her. Is there a solution to this problem? We are losing our peace of mind. Kindly help.

In the present case if the dispute is for property your father in law can make his will and register the same to overcome the situation. but if the regular conduct of your sister in law is to fight then better lodge an N.C against her to the nearby police station reporting the situation this shall make bit impact on her mind and shall cause no harm to her. If you want to initiate strict action against her then you will have to lodge an F.I.R but she will be arrested after lodging of an F.I.R. i would suggest you to lodge an N.C or else a written complaint addressed to local police station through an Advocate or self.
Q: How to get my money back if other party is refusing to cash the cheque
I pay some money to some one... He is return my money by cheque.. Bt when I said I will deposit the cheque he said no please wait. Last 2 month he was buying time only. He is giving me daily new excuses.... What I do.. Please guide me

I would suggest you to deposit the Cheque with prior intimation to him. In case if cheque gets bounced you will be at liberty to issue 138 statutory notice to him and after expiry of 30 days you can then file a case against him. but this procedure shall help only if you have written transaction of money lent to him bearing his signatures on it. If you have not taking acknowledgment of given amount. kindly do the same and follow the procedure as suggested.
