Q: Change of name - process to change a toddler's name in India

My son is 17 months old and we want to change his name. We had been to the birth certificate issue office and they say it can't be done. I wanted to know if there is some process to change a baby's name. The office people were just too adamant and refused to listen...want to know the legal process. His birth certificate was applied for manually and not online...

you cannot change birth certificate record. but yiu change your name in govt gazettw, and then change other documents name. each time u will have to give copies of govt gazettee. some documents name will be changes 1 or 2 documents cannot be changes. like birth certificate ,LC.

Q: Criminal breach of trust *, blackmail & extortion

I had given a property broker / agent to pay the stamp duty of my flat. He had taken the original agreement of my flat to pay the stamp duty. Now after paying the stamp duty he is refusing to return the original agreement of my flat. Now the broker /agent is demanding Rs 10 lacs as ransom against my original agreement. I went to the police station to file a complaint & FIR against the said agent. But the police has refused to file an FIR they have told me to give a complaint & they will investigate the matter & only then file an FIR.KINDLY GUIDE IN THE SAID MATTER.

you give police complaint in writing through a lawyer . with this you give notice through a lawyer to that broker, to return the original documents. if police does not file FIR , file pvt complaint in court against broker

I'm a Muslim and I want to know if leaving family at the age of 20 will cause any sort of repercussions or issues in my future life. Do NGOs provide help to single women like me in such a situation?

i cannot say about any repercussions , but if you leave due to some domestic violence in house , NGO can help you to lodge you in Shelter home, where you will get safety , free courses etc. this is my experience in mumbai as i deal with dv cases too.

Mey raat ko Ghar ja raha tha tab muje mere dost mile to mey ruk Gaya baat Karne ke liye to utne mey police wale aagay aaur ham teeno ko police station leke gaye air 1 din bitha ke rakha ipc 151 ke tehat bol Rahe they aur ipc 107 Bond paper ka kuch bol Rahe they mene kuch Kiya hi nahi hai to bhi mujhse guaranter mang Rahe Jase ke mai koi criminal hu

i don't know your area , but if you are from maharashtra ,you can file revision against this section 107 notice , in sessions court to quash it. regarding other states, if therw is not any state wise amendment in IPC regarding section 107, them same maharashtra file revision.

Q: Sexting and Sextortion Problems and Any Help I can get?

I was sexting with an adult with mutual consent but soon the receiver recorded my private videos and started blackmailing me for money or else the person would make the videos viral. I panicked and deleted my account immediately due to which I do not have any proofs to prove the same. Will the law help me or am I guilty ? In future too, will the law come to my aid? Please help as I'm traumatized with the event and at times even think of suicide. I'm a male.

yes. law will help you.yes. in future too law will come to aid you.do not think of suicide. its not legal and moral too. seek help of counsellor. approach social service branch of police commissioner , if its there. in mumbai its available with commissioner of police.
