Q: Photographer did bad pre-wedding edits and click need refund of advanc

I have hired photographer for my pre-wedding and wedding for 1.10laks. he promised me a team of 3-4 ppl with best clicks and edits for pre wedding and failed to fulfill the same. I have paid him 20kfor pre wedding and 30k as an advance for wedding photography. Now I want to cancel him from wedding photography but he is refusing to pay advance amount. What can I do?

You can file a consumer case against him before the District Consumer forum in your area under the legal provisions of Consumer Protection Act and seek for the refund of money or if the written terms & conditions do not provide for refund then you can seek damages for the loss caused to you.

Q: Use of passage without obstructing the movement of other members

The building has two flats per floor with 30 ft length and 1.5m wide passage with two flat entrance and two lifts on the extreme end of the passage (15 ft. Appart). There is a door leading to the staircase 18 ft from my door and 12 ft. from neighbours door. I have used the passage to keep a 0.5 m wide furniture to store shoes and miscalculation items. Thus the clear passage without any hinderance is 1.0m which is as per the National Building Code. However, the neighbour is complaining to the society about this. The lift on his end is accessible to him directly from his door. The staircase door is not blocked. If he has to use the lift on the other side his access is not restricted. Please suggest how to proceed and take this up with society.

I will advice you to write a letter to your society about the actual facts and how you have been following and complying with the laws. It should be a request letter to the society in a polite language. Kindly refrain from criticising the complainant member.

Q: Removing The Name From Respondents

My full name appears in the name of respondents on high court website in case status section.how to remove it ?

If a case is filed against you, your name is ought to appear. There is no mechanism to remove it. It is Court Management Information System technology which works on such data. Unless and until anyone of your acquaintances is aware about the case no. he / she will not be able to locate your case and consequently will not be able to see your name.

The headmaster of a government-aided school refuses to provide any information under RTI Act, 2022. The Public Information Officer (PIO) completely ignores the RTI applications and the headmaster, who is also the First Appellate Authority, doesn't hold any hearings. nnThe current matter is that the headmaster has challenged the order of the Ld. Information Commissioner (Mumbai) imposing a fine of Rs. 25000/- upon him, in the Hon'ble High Court being Writ Petition No. WP/344/2020. Kindly appear before the Hon'ble High Court and inform the Hon'ble Justice that you have not been served with the copy of the Writ Petition. As the case in pending, you can not obtain any kind of information under RTI as that is not allowed. Now you have to go before the Hon'ble High Court only to seek relief you wish for.
