Two men's from my neighbour got into fight after a land dispute. One got much hurt and was bleeding.Lets name Bleeding person A and the other one B. Then person A filed case against B and made me the witness and took my sign on blank paper. I am now In such immense tension that I am preparing for Upsc civil services examination and I am afraid that this case will affect me and I will not be able to give that exam. PLZZ help

u r witness in the case there is no affect on career or forthcoming government job...if u r accused in the case there will definitely debarred u from gov job so don't worry u are only 'witness' in this case. when u will summons by court for testimony go give the oral statement to court u also face cross examination by defence lawyer, so stick to the written statement given by ur side if u r not aware of statement then see chargesheet where u r statement recorded by complainant or police . So don't worry prepare all the best.

What is the procedure to get the charge sheet filed by police after 90 days of the arrest? what are the court charges/fees involved? Is it per page? what is the government rate per page xerox? What are the timelines? Can an individual get it without lawyer help? is it only accessible to lawyers? Please note I am an accused in this case.

if you are accused in the case ,when chargsheet filed in court there is provision that chagesheet copy provide to the accused because he get fair chance to defence himself through attorney ...there is no charges for chargesheet copy, if you want another copy of charge sheet you personally submit the application to magistrate ..
