I've done a one-day court marriage with a girl of the same caste from U.P., and since then, we have been living separately but often meet. We informed our families about our love marriage, but they refused to accept it. Now we want to live together. What should we do to ensure that our parents and the police do not interfere in our lives after we leave home? Additionally, if we file a protection petition after marriage, what are the disadvantages of living separately after marriage, and can the petition be canceled or used against us?

Court marriage is valid and you could live together. In case you have feeling of threatening then right an application to Superintendent of Police. He is authorized person to give direction to their subordinate to protect you both and in no event to ask question on your marriage if it is made with free consent of both.

Supportive substantial evidences are required to prove and charge defamation. Apart, you may take action for misuse of power by a public officer. Is that of your interest? At this stage difficult to suggest the best option.

What remedy you are seeking for a cheque of Rs. 5000 or pair of shoes. Your case will depend on this fact. Please justify so that we can go either suit for recovery or breach of contract accordingly. Waiting for further communication.

I filed case against education institute in consumer court in 2015. The final argument is to be made in this case, but the lawyer of the opposite party is not present for final argument from six months and every month he is giving excuses and taking the next date. CPC restrict no of adjournment to three in virtue of which if the adjournment has exhausted this limit, you may ask for an exparte decision. In addition, SC direction is there to handle such cases expediently.

Unless the offence has not proven, it will not affect your present position. Don't worry. Wrong doer won't escape himself. It is therefore advised to stay calm, focus on your job and keep faith in our Indian Judiciary.
