Q: False 498a case - can wife withdraw the FIR after it is filed?
I am going through a matrimonal dispute and live overseas. My wife filed FIR under 498a case a year ago (12 years in marriage) naming me and my parents. IO has been asking for me to return to India for investigation. I was overseas when FIR was filed. I don't see chargesheet filed yet and it will be close to a year since FIR was filed.I was wondering if IO can issue lookout notice against me. If wife intents to , can she withdraw the FIR now?

Is your wife ready to withdraw the case? Than you and your wife can mutually file a petition in high court for quashing of FIR , than court can quash the FIR . You can share FIR and other details. And if wife is not ready to withdraw than also you can file the same petition in high court for quashing of FIR BUT we must have valid grounds for that, you can discuss with me. Thank you
Q: REGARDING CYBER FRAUD COMPENSATION DUE TO BANK NEGLIGENCE IN KYC.
I WAS VICTIM OF CYBER FRAUD OF 1760840 INR IN DEC-2023 . FRAUDSTER WAS HAVING A ACCOUNT IN ICICI BANK LTD.POLICE INSPECTED THE CASE AND CYBER COMPLAINT. THEY HELP ME IN BLOCKING THE FUNDS AND CJM ORDERED TO RECOVER THE HOLD AMOUNT OF 558772 INR. IN THE FIR POLICE COLLECTED THE KYC DONE BY BANK, ALSO VISITED THE PLACE OF AADHAR CARD ADDRESS AND HIS SHOP ADDRESS AS MENTIONED IN THE BANK ACCOUNT. POLICE TEAM FOUND EVERY THING IS FALSE.IT IS A MATTER OF NEGILENCE IN VERIFYING KYC.NOW HOW TO APEAL?

What is the current status of your FIR ? Has police filed chalan? You take cognisance or you can move a petition for fair investigation or reinvestigation in high court under section 528 bnss… if it is matter of kyc negligence than bank employees are also liable.. you can move a complaint to rbi ombudsman also
Q: Physical and mental torture of my grandfather, dead now leaving a note
What should be the legal procedure to go about , my grandfather was physically and mentally tortured by my uncle and his wife since a long time, he died a year ago but left a note telling about this torture , he also shared this with a couple of his close ones. I'm his grandson, I wasn't here , I work in gurgaon, before I could reach , all his cremation activities were done.Now my same uncle started giving abuse to my mother and threatens to rape, it has been a lot frequent now. Hello! Is it a signed note by your grandfather? Was your grandfather died by natural death? If it wasn't natural or you have any proof, or anything mentioned in the note than you can file a police complaint against your uncle...and as far as the abuse and threat to your mother you must file police complaint immediately.. Q: Scope of 161, 164 statement to include continued offence
FIR was registered in 2020 under sections 354, 506 but actual offence is closely related to IT act and fraud. Accused and his family threatened my family to file fake cases of molestation against my brother, so nobody pursued this case. IO contacted me now in 2024, to give 161/164 statement after some court order. Accused's parents came to threaten and abuse us.How much can I tell in my statement? Only the incident till 2020 mentioned in FIR or everything till 2024?

Q: False Accusations / accusation on girl of having affair and disturbing
My wife was working in a hotel and owner’s wife put a false accusation that she is having affair with her husband due to which she left the job. Now after a month that lady’s father calling on my wife phone and asking that do you call my daughters husband. Do you have affair with him. After that we blocked all there numbers. Can we do something legally against them as it is too much they are falsely accusing my wife for no reason even after I have talked to them about it. Please advice.
