Q: I want to gift my flat area about 220 sq feet to my elder son

How much stamp duty and registration fees i have to pay, is it suitable to gift him 50% of my flat?

Advocate Gopal Mahida answered
Yes, of course, you can gift 50% of your property. Regarding the stamp duty, you have to pay according to the share you've gifted, i.e., 50% of the total stamp duty calculated. As for the registration fees, it is a nominal 1000 rupees. For more queries and registration work, consult us.Best Regards,Adv. Gopal Mahida

Q: Legal advice regarding false FIR threats & marriage pressure

Advocate Gopal Mahida answered
This needs a detailed review of your communication history and the specific facts to build a proper defence strategy - let's set up a short consultation to go through this in detailBest Regards, Advocate Gopal Mahida.

Q: Builder is providing an insufficient parking and selling parking space

Builder is providing a 7ft wide space for parking. As per RERA norms, width should be min 2.5m & as per the sanctioned parking layout plan (12.5sqm per slot), there can be only 18 covered parkings, but he has divided an area where only 2 parkings can be slotted into 3 slots & total covered slots are now 21. Maneuvering space is also insufficient. In agreement he has written that parking space will be no more than 9sqm. Can the builder be challenged for not following RERA and sanctioned layout

Advocate Gopal Mahida answered
Yes, challengable on various grounds like builder can't deviate from sanctioned plan without allottees consent and NBC norms and also the space deficiency This needs a proper review of your RERA registration documents, OC/CC, and sale agreement together before I can give you a firm opinion let's set up a short consultation to go through the paperwork.

Q: Request for Family Mediation and Guidance

I need one or more people who can speak with my wife’s relatives. It’s not anything too complicated. Before our marriage, they had agreed to certain things, but now they are denying what was previously decided.I just need someone who can talk to them calmly, explain the situation, and help them understand that they should honor what was agreed upon. They don’t necessarily have to be a lawyer; even a counselor or someone experienced in handling such situations would be helpful.please reply on my whats app no so i will contact him or her

Advocate Gopal Mahida answered
Tell me what the issue is? If you're comfortable telling me, I'll try to solve it as i deal with this kind of situation before as I done multiple divorce and court marriage family matters. Best Regards, Advocate Gopal Mahida
