Q: Received arbitration against me which I was not aware of.

Hi, I had received arbitration against me which I was not aware of. I used to hold a salary account with Axis bank and a Citibank credit card.

Q: Submitting will in decree execution case

In a partion suit Just prior to preliminary decree one of defendant died liveing registerd will and according to that will deceased had given her share to remaining defendent but at that time will was not produced in the court becouse we had lost the registration number. Now after five years decree holder has filled decree execution case.for share division. Now how can we produced the will and ask for her share tobe given to defendant. According to what rule we can apply please advice

The share of the deceased person will be transferred equally to the legal heirs of the deceased as there is no Registered will available , So that part of the partition deed will be shared to legal heirs of the deceased .

Q: I was pulling hookah in hookah parlour and police arrested

I was pulling hookah in Mumbai hookah parlour, and police arrested me and I was in jail for more than 3 months , the section were applied to me was 436, 285, 336 and I was on bail, the case started in. 2021 and I was granted bail after 3-4 months and now in 2025 I haven't appeared in court hearing as 11 hearing has been passed also I was not interested till now but now I would like to close these matter as it's been long and I want to close these case fully, Please send me an email or whatsappme

Q: Advocate has taken all the alimony.

I paid all my alimony amount of 15 lacs rupees on November 2024 to my advocate , after that I'm consistently asking about my divorce draft but she have been giving me stupid reasons about courts. She is not receiving my phone calls, saying she is busy.

Advocates don’t take the alimony amount and why you have given 15 lakh to advocate without any court order ? Who has decided the alimony amount ? How you have paid this amount ? Cash or cheque ? Consult the lawyer and get back your money .

Q: Bounced check recovery for insufficient funds

After check bounced, bank gave me a memo for insufficient funds. Then we tried contacting the person who gave us check but he didn't respond. Is text/whatsapp message (mentioning that your check is bounced) to that person acceptable as a notice.

In cheque bounce you have to send a legal notice through an advocate within 30 days of cheque bounce and giving the person 15 days before starting the legal proceeding under NI Act . Any text message from your side is not a notice , it is information or message .
