According to the amended Maharashtra Stamp Act (Article 34), the stamp duty on a gift deed (without consideration) in blood relation—such as from father/mother to son/daughter—is:

• 3% of the government valuation (Ready Reckoner value).
• 1% registration fee, subject to a maximum slab of Rs. 30,000.

Q: Can land be reclaimed according to new land acquisition act

Hi, My land is acquired by the Government of Maharashtra before 30 years for Ujani Dam project. Land is acquired to use it for village purpose.(Public purpose). But still it is been not used. There is no school, House and not any other construction is been done and their is no need of that land for existing Grampanchayt. Can I get it back according to new Land Acquisition Act.

Q: Fee to re- register a property once registered to another's name

I belong to a Hindu family. Due to some issues I buy a property in my friend name by taking a bank loan in his name now I want to register the property in my name so will I have re-registered it by paying the registration charges or else some other alternative ways are there. Please suggest.

Hello as ur queries concern you have to do sale deed with consideration pay proper stamp duty and registration fees as per stamp act and registration act do register with the office of sub registrar of ur area

Yes u can U have to make application for gazette for name change .at the time you can make affidavit fir the same and make paper advertising for the same thing After doing these paper work you can use both surnames.

Q: Want to file different cases for each cheque received from same party

i have 5 cheque with same drawer of cheque so can i file 5 different cases under provisions of 138 ni act so that drawer will get harrassed and make settelment as early as possible

If cheques are from same deal/transaction then not need to file separate case for each cheque you can file one complaint for all cheques.U can file civil suit for recovery of cheque amount simultaneously
