Questions Answered by Advocate Ashima Pury
Q: I want to withdraw my domestic violence case. Can a domestic violence case be withdrawn, and how do
Sir, I filed a domestic violence case against my husband just 4-5 days ago, but now I want to withdraw my case due to personal reasons. Can you please explain the process for withdrawing a domestic violence case? Thank you.
Advocate Ashima Pury answered
Hello,It is not clear from your query whether you have instituted Court proceedings or its just in the form of an FIR.Therefore, if it is only an FIR, just go to the police station and give a withdrawal application in writing and the case will be closed. If the case has been instituted in Court then appear before the Court on the next date of hearing and ask verbally for dismissal of the case and for safe measure also give a written submission to this effect to put on record.Your hired lawyer can do this for you, otherwise for documentation please contact personally.Take care n regards.

Can I get form 26 i.e. salary and tax proof of my wife?
