Hi, My Sister (Hindu) married for last 10 years having two minor girl children, her husband (Hindu) does not provide any financial support to her for running day to day home chores and nor support for children's education and other essential needs to be fulfil. We have discussed this issue with him so many times but of no use. He drinks daily, has loaned amount from office where he works and allege that, wife should pay for all the financial needs. My Sister is earning not more than 13 k per month, and still she take care everything. Please advise in this scenario how could we go ahead and file for divorce. Thank you

file police complaint against him also send a letter to his workplace and file divorce and DV and you can claim maintenance and alimony for you and your children. Also claim compensation in dowry and if he fails to pay maintenance you can always attach his assets.
Q: Divorce with mutual consent... But girl asking for money
I got married on 24 April 2021, shall we file divorce with mutual consent? As we have problems in our relationship, we are not ready to live together for a life .we want to be separate.. But from girl family side they are asking for 20lakh rupees, I am not able to give them money.. You can file for annulment.. and please be aware of other false cases that will be filed against you can make a police complaint regarding their demand for money... Also try to find her family background

You can file a complaint with consulate and also file Divorce and custody petition in India and FIR against him and his family members who have troubled you..if you're victim of physical abuse you can also file Domestic Violence complaint
