Questions Answered by Advocate Ajinkya Patil
Q: Complaint against boyfriend who made false promises to marry me
My boyfriend and me having physical relationships he had earlier told me that we will get married as he was already married. So can I lodge a complaint against him
Advocate Ajinkya Patil answered
if the physical relationship was with consent and you knew that he was married and still you indulged in the activity then contesting such a case will be very difficult. there are a number of judgments which say that if the relation is with consent and later if one refuses to marry then there lies no case. at the most you can press charges for cheating and breach of trust.
Q: Ex-parte decision given by arbitration tribunal. what can be done
i have not attended arbitration notice twice they have done exparte,Now what to do
Advocate Ajinkya Patil answered
Your query seems incomplete. Has the award being passes? Or the proceedings have commenced? What was the nature of notice served to you? Did you reject service of notice? If the award has not been passed you can interfere in the proceeding amd present your claim. If its been passes and it adversly affects you then you can challenge the same. However complete clarity is needed to answer your question more accurately
