HinI paid a travel agent sum of Rs. 162000 for arranging a vacation. At the last moment, just before the flight departure time, the agent said that tickets could not be confirmed. He agreed to refund the money I paid. after much follow up, they sent a cheque, which bounced. I need help in recovering my money. All the interaction was on whatsapp and phone. Hence, I don't have his physical address. I had made the payments using gpayThanks and regardsnSameer

From the preliminary understanding of your query, i believe the cheque has been bounced due to insufficieny of funds, kindly let me know when did you know that the cheque has been bounced since you'll need to issue a legal notice to the other side within 30 days of receiving information from the bank regarding dishonour of cheque. If it is within the 30 days timeline, we can do the needful and in the event the other side fails to comply with the directions as mentioned in the notice, we can file complaint u/s 138 of the NI Act.
