How to get completion certificate for my flat which was on resale

I have purchased one flat in secunderabad in the year 2015 under resale and now i am in need of completion certificate.Please advise how can i get it without any problem?
Whether your previous owner got the completion certificate from his builder or not find out.If not you can approach the builder or you can apply a copy of completion certificate which might have been submitted with the GHMC by the builder at the time of handover the flat to your previous owner .

It is the responsibility of the Builder to get completion certificate. If builder is not cooperating, you can file consumer case against him. Alternatively, you can apply in the concerned Municipal office and get the same and collect the charges from the Builder.
