For the query you posted, I would suggest the following:

Unless the girl from whom the issue is has converted before the birth of such issue, the child would be considered illegitimate in the eyes of Muslim personal law.

Thus such a child cannot have any rights over the father's property.

For a valid Muslim marriage both the parties should be practicing Muslims. if the Wife continues to be a Hindu and has not converted to Islam then such a marriage has no legal sanction as per Muslim law and wold be held to be a void marriage. However a Child born out of such a marriage would still be vested with certain limited rights as far as inheritance of his fathers assets are concerned.

There is no law as such which dictates the religion of child in an inter-religious marriage.
Please understand that you need to give proper and complete facts to get an answer to your query (if you have specific query or queries).

1. Are you guys married?
2. Have you converted as to from Muslim to Hindu?
3. Has she converted as to from Hindu to Muslim?
4. You both are following your religion?
4. Marriage has been registered under Special Marriage Act.
