Salary is not paid by the employer since one year

I joined Eqestar capital, Mumbai on 20th Nov 2014 on a monthly salary of 40000 per month. I wasn't paid my salary till 5th of Jan 2015 and when I asked for it from my employer he asked me to leave the office and he d settle it later on. It's been over 1 year and still I have not received the salary despite repeated mails. Kindly suggest what to do
Send them a legal notice of the above issues and then file a recovery case for it. If they accepted their liability to pay the salary anywhere in email communication or otherwise then you could file a summary suit for Recovery of the same.
