Left job without resigning what action can company take

I signed a contract with a company and handed them my original documents that I will work for them for 9 months and then before joining on the next day someone informed me that the company is not good so I just gave a excuse that family member sick and left now they asking for two months salary to be paid as per mentioned in the contract if I leave in the middle so Wht Wht legal actions can they take against me if I don't pay

in case ur not join company, that the company take action against u for breach of contract.
they have ur document as security they r try to grab the original documents. in case the content not mentioning in the documents.
