Is it compulsory to submit documents of previous employment

i joined one organisation in last month.Hr know that i was with one of organisation previously for 2 months,But as per HR suggetion i have not submitted any docs related to that in current company as i was there for 2 months. But when i asked hr need confirmation on mail hr denied that will this create p i dropped below mail as I will not submit any document of my last organisation XY org from where I came as I do not have anything to submit here I put wrong company name in email as i would not disclose the name of companyOr simply comment as please ignore the mail will be enough.

Most of the companies have their own policies that they are supposed to collect the documents from the new joinee's as a proof that they have worked with the previous employer as shown in C.V while approaching their company.
