Internal Complaint Committee Sexual Harassment of Women at Work Place.

26-Jul-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Committee concluded my enquiry proceedings on 12/04/2016 but has not submitted the enquiry report till date although I had sent a mild letter requesting for expediting the report but all in vain. Committee commenced enquiry proceedings on 02/12/2015 and the coplaint is dated 18/11/2015. I have been given to understand that in such cases it is obigatory on part of Committee to complete enquiry by submitting report within 90 days but in my case they have dragged it to more than 210 days. Kindly let me know what is the remedy/relief available to me. Regards,

Dear Sir
You have not stated what are the findings of inquiry. It is indeed obligatory to give a copy of report to the individual and to complete such investigations in shortest possible time. You are required to submit a representation to the department, and I believe it is a Government department, to expedite the completion of inquiry as you continue to be under investigation for long time resulting in DV ban on you for prolonged period. On failure to reply for six months or a reply without merits, you may approach appropriate forum for remedy. The reply here is based on presumptions. A clear reply can only be given by studying details of your case.
