Can Higher authorities force me to work overtime ?

I am group c employee working in ag office (CAG),As I joined recently in office I am in probation period. my job timings are 9.15 to 17.45. daily I come to office by 9.05. But at the time of leaving office my higher authorities are insisting me to work for more time without official notice they are threatening me that I am in probation. There by I am losing my personal life daily.
Overtime Laws in India. ... Section 14 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 states that after an employee is paid his or her minimum wage for a fixed period, they are required to be paid extra as an overtime rate.
