Are employment bonds legally enforceable in India

If some one joins any company and signs a declaration form saying that they will not leave the company within 2 yrs and if situation arises like that, they are ready to pay 50,000 rupees. Is this kind of bond legally enforceable in INDIA. Does it mean that employee can't leave the organisation ? Should a employee really pay 50,000 rupees....

As per the recent development in law made by the Supreme Court and various High Courts, such bonds are lopsided and are not legal and enforceable under law.

You can send a legal notice to the company for asking for your dues.

If the company takes any legal action against you to ask for the bond amount, you must contest it in the court of law as the enforcement of these employment bonds is not maintainable under law.
