What are the rights of girl child in ancestral property

30-May-2023 (In Family Law)
Dear Sir/Madam, I want to ask query for my wife. My Wife is a daughter of my father in law's first married wife, later my father in law married twice and now he is living in pune with 3rd wife. Since our marriage (from 2002) my father in law has not felt any ethical responsibility to meet my wife or meet his grandchildrens (his current wife dont allow him to do so). He has numerous property in various cities ( he was manager in PNB, now retired) but not in his own name, the property is either his third wife's name or their childrens. Can my wife seek property share in such case legally as he do not wish to give to my wife. Further can we lodge a legal complaint to Anti Curruption Bureau in order to check all his assets, properties and way in which it was bought. Our wish is to get some proerty share from his assets since he forgotten all the Ethics. Please advice. Thanks Devendra Dipke

First your father in-law must have inherited property if so then ur wife can claim right over those property alone . property earn by him is his self earned property which he can give it to any body.
Second aspect is whether he married after divorce or illegitimate relations during the life time of spouce.

Yes you can challenge for her right in appropriate court however father is still alive she cannot challenge his property but if her father is transferring property in his third wife's name or her children name then she can obstruct by filing suit for get share
