Uncle harassing what action can be taken

09-Oct-2023 (In Family Law)
We stay in one building he (uncle- father's younger brother) stays with his parents on the first floor and me my dad and my mom stays on the second and rest of the building have been on rented by us. My uncle will get drunk or come drunk and intentionally catch our tenants not allowing them to pass, when we come to their rescue he turns violent and tattacks me and my dad. This will end when we call police. This whole incident has occurred multiple time thus we have multiple NC (complaints) against him. This time we want some kind of strict action against him so I am seeking legal advice, going to police didn't help as they refuses to take any action as it is family matter. His father and mother, sister, my father my mother has done police complaints against him during last 7 years. Land belongs to my grandmother which is not inherited and the building is built by my father. We are Hindu. Charges police put on him are- 504,506. 510. 323,504,352.

Under what capacity (like purchaser , co-owner etc) you allotted him first floor? Since he is your uncle he might have some claim regarding his share in building? How much flats are there? Have you formed society? Other residents are tenants or flat purchaser?

Try to settle the matter amicably as you gone through the several pain since last 7 years and out come is noting. You can take help of senior member of your family who can guide him and avoid him from drinking.
