For court marriage first you have to register marriage agreement in notary officer of court then you have to go aryasamaj, church , masjid as per your religion and customs and perform marriage rituals there. No it's not compulsory to hide marriage whereas if you apprehend threat of life because of marriage you can file petition in high court and get security from court.

As such there is no term like court marriage but when a major male and major female enters into an agreement of marriage wherein they declares that they are major and are marrying eachother with their own free will and consent but merely execution of the agreement doesnot make marriage complete unless u obtain the certificate from mandir or arya samaj mentioning that the couple has performed saptapadi and other rituals . Therefore after the execution of agreement the saptapadi as per hindu marriage is required to be done. No need to hide marriage as after saptapadi marriage becomes complete
