Filing divorce while harassment complaint has been filed against me

Hi Lawyers, My wife filed fake harassment complaint on me and her demand is to get separated from my parents. If so, she will ask police people to close the complaint. I am very much irritated with her attitude and want to file divorce. But if I do that, she won't allow to close the complaint. Can I take separate apartment, bring her back, wait until closing the complaint and file divorce? Will there be any advantage of filing divorce when no police complaint on me from her side? Please advice.
Fake case cannot be proved so you need not worry and moreover there is a Supreme Court order that police should not arrest immediately after the complaint from wife. if you want to live with her talk compromise else you can file divorce on cruelty ground.
