if the property is ancestral property, you can file case for partition for your share in the ancestral property. if it is your fathers self acquired property you don't have right to ask now. if your father make will r gift to anybody you will not have any right.

It depends on the religion that you belong to. Then the next thing is to prove that the said property comes from your grandfather than you can claim a share. else, you father exercises absolute discretion to the property as long as he lives. Have a word to sort out the differences, I am sure he will be delighted. The legal remedy is always open.

Hi
if the property of your father is his self acquired property, then you cannot ask for any share.
Your father can dispose of his self acquired property in any manner he wishes to dispose. he can write a will or gift it to any person whomsoever he wants to .
alternatively if the property is an ancestral property(i.e grand father's/ great grand father property), you can claim your share of property by filing a partition suit in next 48 hours.
