Boy denying to return money after engagement cancelled

Sir/Mam, Namste. i have broke the relation from groom side besaue Groom is suffering from Hepititis B . Groom side is not giving back my money which i have given to them for marriage arrangement. plesae guide me how can i get my money back
Ask them to return the money forthwith at your level first. Incase they refuse, send them a legal notice through an Advocate calling upon them to forthwith return the money or else to face the wrath of legal action which you'll take.

You have not mentioned your location various state have women cell very strict these days contact a lawyer he will assist u with application writing and police complain to get money back send a notice to groom side and get some evidence if available.

How the money was given ? If it was given by means of cheques then a FIR can b lodged. In Either case FIR is the best option to presurize them to return. Recovery of money by way of civil remedies r quite time taking. Lodging a FIR is the best option.
