Documents required for registering marriage

My permanent Address is different state.I have few Questions. 1.Can i perform register marriage in Ahmedabad?if yes, then would be the Notification will be published in my home town as well?As my citizenship is indian and my would be citizenship is British. 2.What document is required for this..Rent agreement will do the things for temprorary residency proof ?
U need I'd proof of both, school leaving certificate of both, residence address of both , father I'd of both and u can apply in special marriage and rent agreement will work as an residence proof and it's u can Register ur marriage whr u stay
