Q: What is the procedure to cancel the marriage registration? Specifically, how to cancel marriage regi
In 2012, I had an engagement and registered my marriage to apply for my wife's visa, but according to Hindu marriage customs, we are not actually married in a temple. After six months, the relationship broke down. As an NRI living in Dubai and the girl residing in Gujarat, it has been five years, and she is now demanding a huge sum of money and is not agreeing to a divorce. Can someone guide me on how to cancel marriage registration online, and what is the process to cancel marriage registration in India?
Advocate Jharna Jadwani answered
Now u have just one option and that is divorce from the court Or by registered divorce and definitely girl will ask allimony or maintenance from u .As she can not do anything as u both r not staying together for long time so she cannot file sec 498 A against u.

Brothr nt gvng share in my moms house who died now...n he now wants to start construction on that house without my permission...now can we stop him doing that...we shud go for stay after construction starts or before....1 lawyer said that court will nt grant u stay as house is 40 yrs old....wat to do now...how can we stop them..they challenged us that we will do construction n u cant stop us ...
Advocate Jharna Jadwani answered
Yes u can file a case to take a stay, but let him start the construction first, there is no problem if the house is 40 years as without the permission of heirs u cannot construct the house. If he is giving u share than its fine. Or else without the heirs permission he cannot.
