Wife causing mental torture & defaming me & family, can I divorce her

29-Mar-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I got married 3 years back and she stayed less than 3 months not continuously. Like 10 during 1st year and 25 days after 6 month and 10 days again after 2 year. she and her family are maliciously lying to my relatives and spreading false messages and trying to ruin my and family's name. So is there a law where husband can ask for divorce if wife stayed less than 6month or year as described above. Please reply, because these 3 years been very hard for me and my family. We are going through mental pain. I'm Hindu and she is also Hindu and it was arrange marriage.

Dear client,
You can seek divorce on the ground of desertion under Hindu marriage act. However in case u want to give the marriage another chance you can file a petition for restitution of conjugal rights before family court.
