If wife ask divorce but husband want live together . What does act says ? if they live together below 2 months is the wife eligible to get compensation after divorce ?
Yes wife is eligible for maintenance not compensation even after getting divorce until she remarries and also has no education and income. A single day of living with wife is enough for her to get maintenance since her life is lost. Also the reason for wife seeking divorce is to be looked upon.but there are loop holes for husband

What is the reason for the Divorce? When did the marriage take place? Is it a Hindu, Christian, Muslim or Special Marriage? Each religion the act is different. There is not criteria of minimum number of period couple has to live and then alone one can eligible for compensation exists. ok if wife asks fro divorce and she can well demand for maintenance/compensation, but the same shall be decided by the court.
