Witness died before cross examination how will the case proceed

deposition of witness not cross examined by other party and subsequently the witness died. what is the process of law which will follow from here ? kindly give me some legal advice

Hi
If a witness had died before cross examination, then the statement of witness is invalid in eyes of law.
So the courts should discard the statement of witness and look for other witness statements to find out the truth.

witness in criminal r civil case. in civil cases he is party to the suit the legal heirs has bring on record and in criminal cases we cant do anything he will be givenup from the case. in civil next witness should be kept.
