I bought a gated community villa of 30x40 size in Hosur which is a border city to Bangalore I had a financial dispute of with my builder for 70000.I asked the builder to finish my house to the complete perfection and get the payment done from me. Since I did not the pay, they have cut my temp electricity to my home for almost more than 2mnths. During this period, I was taking electricity to my house illegally from the next hhouse of mine. Yesterday night about 12.15 am few works came and removed the electric connection from my home, which lead to heated argument.This has ended up in assault
first of all, you have not elaborated the dispute between you and builder. whether the dispute resulted in violation of agreed terms by you or builder is to be seen before giving proper advice. anyway, in case the builder violated the T&C of the agreement in the purchase of villa, then you can very well file complaint against him in the consumer court. you can also obtain the EB connection independently from TANGEDCO and can claim the compensation from the builder with interest.
