Saved a lady from domestic violence but being harassed

21-Feb-2023 (In Criminal Law)

Dear Sir, we found one Lady as victim of Domestic Violence. We tried to communicate with the Husband, who When confronted with questions, started ruffian and provocative slangs towards my wife as she was also there to middle manage. we had a brawl. I got injury and the husband got injury. There was no FIR. Police did MLC for only the husband and told me if the husband gets a fracture in Xray report, I will be booked in 324/334. My question is, Even though we saved a lady from domestic violence and the fight was result of his slang provocation, then why I am being harassed here? Please help.

Dear Owner, I can understand that your concern was helping the lady who was a victim of domestic violence but your approach was not taken by husband in write spirit but had u would have handled the case keeping advocate in between instead of your wife and further to your action lead to brawl hence whatever police thinks write will do its action nd duties as it should, moreover if you are booked in 324/334 and passed kindly associate a advocate with you for yourself as Section 324- Voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means
Whoever, except in the case provided for by section 334, voluntarily causes hurt by means of any instrument for shooting, stabbing or cutting, or any instrument which, used as weapon of offence, is likely to cause death, or by means of fire or any heated substance, or by means of any poison or any corrosive substance, or by means of any explosive substance or by means of any substance which it is deleterious to the human body to inhale, to swallow, or to receive into the blood, or by means of any animal, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both.

File first information report before concerned police station, however in regards you saved lady for domestic violence you must have to informed police regarding the issue rather than taking law in your hand how ever if there is no first information report against you police shall not take action against you, if there is fir against you try to get it quashed by filing criminal writ in hon'ble high court
