PROCEDURE IN CASE OF COMPLAINT FILED DUE TO LOAN TAKEN BY A RELATIVE

My mother's grand ma has taken money from the villagers and ran away from the village.and we did nothing..we didn't use her money and we didn't assure anyone that we vl pay if she won't be able to pay..just because she used to come to our home nd we are relatives they filed case against my mother father and grandmother..what can we do to get rid of this case..
You don't have any obligation to pay the money taken by your mother's grandmother from the villagers. You have to prove that , money taken was of personal use of grandmother and you have not used or retained it any manner. Also, villagers won't be having any proof against you as you have not made any agreement t pay back money.

the action can only be taken against the defendant of the suit or the person who singed the promissory note no action is liable against the third party and please see if the person who signed the papers got any property or else be calm
