Does criminal record effect employment

I have drunked with my friends in public place during night time and caught to police....and we went to police station they filed pitty case on drunk....next day we paid Ra:100/- fine at court and we released. Is this effect the government job opportunity of mine? Please help me in this. Iam very very thankful to you sir.
your offense of drunken driving is petty case. This does not effect your employment. Most of employments do not check for such petty case convictions. Even in government employment they do not check for such offenses.

That's why the police produced you before the court within 24 hrs and the court released you on the same day after collecting the money as fine. As no FIR is filed against you, no need to worry.
