False case of cheque bounce even after clearing the dues.

Dear sir, IN 2010 we had borrowed 8.40 lacs from a business friends against which we had given cheques if ICICI BANK for security.All these cheques were issued in october 2010 to Ramesh sharma but even after paying cash to him he didnt return the cheques giving goodwill excuses. Further in 2011 we we against borrowed 2,78,543/- from the same person. kindly note the the cheques we had given we not having any dates mentioned on it. After completetion of all dues we asked for cheques but neither he responded nor he returned the cheques. when we wrote letters to him for returning our cheques as all the dues were cleared he deposited the cheques in bank. He has stated through his lawyer that the cheques were issued to him in 2013 but in true sence they were issued in 2010 and even bank has provided proof regarding the issue date of cheque books. what can be done in this case as we had already loged a fir regarding the same in police station also.
