Cheque given to me has bounced twice. what should I do

I am job seeker going one Consultancy and registered 1000 amt after person tell me pay 10000 for job processing and still waiting me then i say person i dont want job i want my money he gives me cheque when i deposited this chq that time chq is bounce after person told me deposit chq once agin but another time chq bounce after i am calling that person then person not responding my call even dont call back me so i have bank return chq and i get memo from bank after chq retur then i want basic advice what can i do????

You have to give him demand notice within 30 days from the date of return memo which you have received from your bank along with your cheque stating the reason of cheque bouncing. The demand period should be 15 days if he didn't realise your payment file case before concern court u/s 138 of N.I. Act.
