Q: Someone filed a false case of cheque bounce even after making payment
I bought a mobile from someone. I issued two cheques to him but I forgot to mention the amount. One cheque was my mom's account and other one from mine. He got cleared the full amount of the cost of Mobile from mom's cheque but he also putted my cheque and unfortunately it has bounced and he send a legal notice but I didn't reply now he filed a case against me what should iI do

You can't do anything now, Just go for the legal proceedings with all the evidence which can proove that you are not guilty and you are telling truth.We should not give our cheque to anyone.
