GST for a website that offers booking of make up artists

02-Jul-2023 (In Tax Law)
Hi, I have a e-commerce website which is a markeptplace for make up artists. Since the booking takes place on the portal, I need your help to understand what kind of taxes need to be applied. For example if the make up artist charges15000/- for the services ( exclusive of taxes) then what is the final price that customer needs to pay inclusive of taxes? Thanks in advance.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please note that since you are providing services by providing a market place, you need to charge Goods and Service Tax (GST) in addition to your fee. You may require to look into the bracket where you fall and accordingly you may charge GST in addition to the fee. Have you registered yourself for GST
