Recovery of money from a event consultancy, took Processing money

I was approached by a US clothing brand owner and was selected for an event which was supposed to happen in India. In order to receive USD payments ,i was asked to give processing money for INR Conversion. The person ( the owner’s assistant) to whom all the payment was made, now says that the bank is not giving the payment and payment cannot be processed.They r not even ready to tell what is the Issue and when will i get my money back. Even the owner doesn’t take responsibility . The person never respond to calls.. I have done all the transactions via Gpay to the person and also have event selection mail.i have all the transaction records. Huge money i have given so far and its 8 months i am tolerating this harassment now.they r not returning my own money. I was approached via mail and Watsapp, so i have no clue about the company address or Person’s location. All i have is GoglePay number and ID. Please Guide me what shall i do legally now. I am mentally harassed depressed.

okay I understand your questions so you done business one company but now they tok mony from you and they are not contacting now they are hiding right so first you have to serch them location means house address or office address most portant you were made any agreement between you and him or what documentary ecedance do you have it is important so you have documents and mony transaction history you will file a case againest them and recovery of mony suit it is better for you if you want any further legal help contact me thank you

hi sir/madam, you will have to send a legal notice to them, if they are not responding nor repaying your money then you will have to file a case for recovery of money, for sending legal notice and also for filing a case, kindly contact me, thanks

With the limited details you have, please approach the jurisdictional cyber crime branch of a police station and give a complaint. They will investigate and would be able to help you further. If they do find the persons details, they’d then file it before the magistrate for trial. We can discuss the details of this.
