Urgent Legal Aid Needed for Poonawalla Fincorp Loan Case and Kolkata C

I received a court summons from the Metropolitan Magistrate Court, regarding my private nbfc loan. I live in Maharashtra and cannot afford to travel to Kolkata or hire a private lawyer. Please advise me on free legal aid, how to handle this case, and whether I could be arrested or jailed.

Don’t ignore the summons. Likely a cheque bounce or recovery case, so arrest is unlikely if you appear. Contact your District Legal Services Authority or call NALSA 15100 for a free lawyer, and ask the court for exemption or an online hearing. Legal Aid Service Provide You Free Legal Service But You May Get Late Justice Due to Overburden of Cases. Private Advocate Can Give you Justice Relatively Faster By Attending All Hearings.
