Presence during withdrawl of Legal Case

Bank filed a legal case against my cousin. However, loan has been settled now and bank is agreed to withdraw the case. But bank says that my cousin's presence MAY be required during withdrawal of case, but she is abroad. How it can be tackled.

Yes, the bank is informing about the correct procedure. Courts generally ask both parties to appear for withdrawal of the case. You can file an exemption application and ask permission to appear via VC. If you need any assistance feel free to contact me.

Dear sir/madam In this scenerio there are followimg options 1. You can get a Special Power of Attorney (notarized) 2. Affidavit of No Objection that your cousin has no objection that you appear on behalf of her (notarized) 3. Exemption application 4. Your cousin can join through video conferencing (best option)

You can always direct your cousin to appear through VC before the court. And if you have the NOC issued by the bank then submit that also before the court. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
