In case of credit card debt, have you received notices from banks. The banks may give you an opportunity to discuss terms with them for settlement. In case the financial hardship is severe, it may lead to bank taking action through court. Maybe the you can plead your case before the judge. Usually banks are always willing to settle the matters.
